New Beginners Tai Chi classes running in Perth!!!

Craigie Church - Every 1st Saturday of the month 10-12am

First class: Saturday 2nd Octover 2010

Wear comfortable shoes and clothes. If you can, bring a mat, a blanket and any props you need to sit on floor. If you are not comfortable to sit on floor, we can as easily use the chairs that are available in the hall.

Start of new term: 21/09/10 - Tai Chi / Qi Gong classes at Morningside Primary School, 116 Comston Road, Edinburgh EH10 5QN

Beginners' class 6.30-7.30

Advanced class 7.30-8.30

How to find the hall: Pass through school gates, through the main entrance door at the top of the stairs on the side of the building, through the corridor into the hall, at the top right end of the hall go downstairs.

I have been running the class all summer at Roseburn Flats and enjoy it thoroughly. The hall within the group of flat is nice and homely and the old folks are motivated and welcoming. Some have done Tai Chi before and it's fun to keep it going. Some are a bit rusty and are looking to get some muscle and stability back. All in all I have found there a happy group enjoying a little bit of slow and careful exercise together! Totally adequate and great fun! 

I am looking for another home or group of flats for older people who would like to keep up their Tai Chi practice or just discover a new gentle way to exercises. 

If anybody knows of such a place please get in touch!
